We are currently accepting Project Coordinator / Mentor applications for the following fields: graphic design, social media, web design, marketing strategy, and more!

ABOUT THE JOB:

Since its inception in 2018, Ment Marketing & Creative Services has sought to bridge the gap between college education and the workforce, particularly in the creative industry. At Ment, student Menterns get hands-on experience by working with real clients across a wide variety of industries while building their portfolios and resumes for their future careers. The students are mentored by Project Coordinators who are experts in their fields of marketing, web design, graphic design, and social media management. These mentors supervise and evaluate all work, review resumés, and teach new techniques. That’s where you come in! We need Project Coordinators who truly love what they do and are willing to teach students how to be successful in their future creative careers.

 

The Project Coordinator /Mentor…

  • is skilled in digital marketing, marketing strategy, graphic design, social media management, and/or web design – and genuinely enjoys it!has a passion for mentorship and comfortable with giving students constructive criticism.
  • takes initiative, does research, and tries to solve the problem on their own before asking questions.
  • is reliable and responsible with an outstanding work ethic. They take pride in their work and respect deadlines.
  • fits in with our existing team. (We like to laugh at our team meetings in between work.)
  • is comfortable working remotely and willing to meet with clients and the team via Zoom.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • manage multiple client accounts and projects while also completing your own tasks which may include digital marketing, marketing strategy, graphic design, social media management, or web design
  • work closely with the team and clients to ensure expectations and objectives are met in terms of deadlines, budget, and quality of work
  • identify the most suitable members of the team to work on a project based on their skills, experience and workload
  • set appropriate due dates according to client deadlines and contractor schedules
  • provide ideas and input for projects
  • send monthly project reports to clients & secure client approvals at each stage of the project
  • take thorough and organized notes in meetings to send to the client and team
  • keep our project management software organized and updated with detailed documentation
  • maintain a shared folder of project files and documentation
  • maintain communication with the client during a project and follow up after completion

Marketing Project Coordinator / Mentor Position: Contractor with potential to be promoted and/or moved to employee position. Must provide your own software and equipment. Mentors are welcome to continue working at other jobs or remain freelance as long as it doesn’t conflict with Ment’s clients. This is a part time position averaging 20 hrs per week with the opportunity for promotion; flexible hours; flexible vacation; the main requirement is that you meet the deadlines for the projects you commit to. Starting pay is $20/hr.

ABOUT THE JOB:

You won’t be getting coffee and filing paperwork in a marketing internship with our company. Our Menterns work hard and learn constantly as they work on real projects with real clients all over the world. At Ment, you can have an internship that you can be proud of, that you can actually build your portfolio and gain real-world experience. Our Project Coordinators will mentor you along the way. Ment will also allow a set number of paid hours per month for relevant education needed to stay up-to-date with marketing tools, strategies, trends, and changes. Our goal is to help you gain broad experience in marketing so that you can then narrow down your career path and have fun doing so.

 

The Marketing Mentern…

  • reports directly to their Project Coordinator/Mentor and works with fellow Menterns
  • has knowledge of the necessary tools to create high quality content (which may include Canva, Adobe, video editing software, etc.) with a natural talent and willingness to learn
  • has excellent communication and creative skills
  • is adaptable, organized, efficient, and personable

 

Job Responsibilities

  • coordinate with fellow team members or schedule your own time to ensure that project goals are accomplished on time and that expectations are exceeded
  • provide ideas and input for clients’ projects as well as suggestions for improvement
  • ensure our project management software and shared folders are organized and updated with detailed documentation
  • attend and represent Ment at local networking events
  • create marketing materials as needed
  • ensure client objectives are met in terms of deadlines and quality of work
  • manage, create, and publish original, high quality social media content on various platforms which may include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, TikTok, etc.
  • perform market analysis and research, then put together a report with findings
  • plan and execute detailed marketing campaigns including social media, newsletters, and ads
  • perform other duties as needed which may include photography, videography, website editing, paid advertising, graphic design, copywriting, attending client and team meetings, etc.

 

Marketing Mentern Position: Contractor with potential to be promoted and/or moved to employee position. Must provide your own software and equipment. At Ment, we don’t mind when you work as long as you finish within the deadline and you prioritize school when you are signing up for projects. Starting pay is $10/hr.
